Tree of Jesse
1951
Five-light window. Virgin and child above David and Jesse in the central light, surrounded by sixteen further figures. These are mainly kings, but also include Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel. Upper octafoils with the Crucifixion between Mary and John, and the Ascension with two disciples (or perhaps the Transfiguration with Moses and Elijah). Uppermost quatrefoil with Christ in Majesty. A vine, sprouting from Jesse, continues throughout the whole design.
