This window was dedicated to my great grandmother's youngest sister. As far as I can establish the face of Love is that of Katherine Prudence (known as Kate); that of Gentleness is her eldest daughter Olga Violet who later became Mrs Daniell; the face of Patience is the youngest daughter Alina Kate Elaine (known as Elaine) who later became Viscountess Bledisloe. Sir John Jones Jenkins (later Baron Glantawe) was married twice. With his first wife, Margaret Rees, he had two sons. The eldest died aged 28 in 1882 and the youngest aged 4 in 1864 a few months after his marriage to Kate. I have often wondered if the faces of the two angels on the side panels are those of these sons. I have no way of finding out.
