Three-light window. Seated figure of Christ, depicted beardless, with angels in the centre light. At the left is the burning of Jerusalem by the Chaldeans, and Jeremiah and Nebuzaradan below. In the right-hand light the return to Jerusalem above Cyrus and Sheshbazzar.

Window commissioned to commemorate the burning of Ypres in the First World War.

Angels above hold the text: 'The creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God' (Romans 8:21).
