perhaps 1920s

Two-light window, with two standing figures, one of whom is probably St Paul, the other perhaps St John. A third figure is found in the tracery light.

firm/studio: probably Wm. Pearce & E. Cutler

Church of St David, Llanfaes, Brecon, Powys

The window is probably the work of Pearce & Cutler, although the date of the window is unknown. Ephraim Cutler joined William Pearce in about 1920. The firm also made work very similar to (or perhaps supplied through) G.A. Rowson of Shrewsbury.

The right-hand figure is beardless, and perhaps represents the apostle John, although he does not hold his usual attributes. The upper figure appears to be a portrait.
